Also known as the "Key of the Nile" because the Egyptians believed that the Sacred Marriage of the Mother and Father Gods occurred each year before the flood of the Nile, unleashing abundant fertility and bountiful crops, which the ANKH symbolized. Every individual and household possessed this most beneficent sacred symbol, associated with the Goddess Isis. 

This outstanding Pewter Ankh begins with the Rays of the Sun God Ra and continues on with the sacred Egyptian symbols and hieroglyphs. Below the center one sees the mystical union of the male and female, the arms show the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx. The base has the Pharaoh,  always referred to as Horus the living god, son of Egyptian deities Isis and Osiris.

This is a very large piece with 13 Emerald, Sapphire, Citrine and Crystal  faceted Swarovski Crystals adorning each side, for a total of 26 Crystals. Each Ankh Face is the same. Two HEMATITE spheres enhance the base.
