Bloodstone

This ancient stone was believed to possess intense healing properties and considered to be the stone of courage.

During the middle ages the stone was attributed with special powers and some believed the spots were the blood of Jesus Christ. It is said to bring the mastery of universal renewal as in the Resurrection and promote Idealism.

It is simultaneously green and opaque with red spots of iron oxide that resemble the color of blood. Bloodstone is used for jewelry and carvings.
